Advanced Accountant (m/f/d)
(full or part-time)
As an Accountant, you will take full responsibility for the end‑to‑end bookkeeping of various SME entities. You will also assist in the preparation of the statutory annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting regulations. Your role will be complemented by taking on the related general administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities as Accountant:

Verify and record all outgoing and incoming invoices

Ensure accurate booking, allocation and recognition of various revenue and expense categories

Maintain asset accounting and fixed asset register

Handle accruals and deferrals
-
Record and monitor all bank transactions on regular basis

Review and book travel expenses and cash reports
-
Build and maintain a close, reliable and trust-based relationship with clients

Support the payroll and tax teams where required

Prepare monthly and quarterly reports

Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings
-
Apply solid VAT related knowledge
Your qualification and skills
-
Completed education or training in accounting
-
At least 2 years of solid accounting experience in Luxembourg including the related booking and coordination work

Strong understanding of Lux GAAP; knowledge of German accounting is not required but a plus

Strong computer skills: very good proficiency in MS office, knowledge of INTEC and/or DATEV software is not required but a plus

Strong analytical skills and affinity for working with numbers

Good level of spoken and written German and English is required

French and any further language skills are considered an advantage

Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
